  1. GOVERNANCE RIGHTS: GOV.DAO´s Governance rights are granted to $GVDT token holders in accordance with GOV.DAO´s Governance Mechanism.

  2. GOVERNANCE MECHANISM: The Governance Mechanism has been designed to provide greater security against governance attacks and other vulnerabilities. The Governance Mechanism requires $GVDT holders to exercise their Governance rights by utilising the $GVDT .

  3. TOKEN LOCK MECHANISM: The $GVDT token lock function issues a secondary token, the vGVDT token, to holders who have locked their $GVDT tokens using the token lock mechanism. Except where $GVDT tokens have been automatically subject to token lock on TGE, all other $GVDT token holders may opt to exercise their Governance rights by locking their $GVDT tokens in accordance with one of the available token lock period tiers ().

  4. GOVERNANCE PROPOSALS: On receipt of vGVDT tokens, vGVDT holders can participate in the DAO´s Governance, including the creation and submission of Governance proposals. All Governance proposals will be created and submitted on the DAO Governance Platform proposal page.

  5. VOTING RIGHTS: vGVDT token holders can participate in the DAO´s Governance by voting on Governance matters issued by Governance proposals. The weight of each vote is proportional to the number of vGVDT tokens held. Voting thresholds are higher for governance proposals relating to distribution of treasury assets, governance framework amendments, and liquidity events. More detailed information on the governance framework can be found in the Founding Governance Framework white paper.
